BIOGRAPHY
Born in Lido di Jesolo, Venice, Italy, and studied Theatre Set Design and Stop frame Animation at the University of Suffolk, and Design Crafts for the Entertainment Industries at Cleveland University college of Art and Design, spending a bohemian gap year as a street portrait artist touring the Northern regions of Italy.
Continuing further training she completed a Professional Industry Standard Level training course in 3D animation software, Maya Comprehensive, and Maya for Games at Escape Studios, Sheppard's Bush, in London.
Her focus has been Illustration, painting and animation.
So far in 2014 Sonya has been Fashion Illustrator at London Fashion Week, Somerset House, for Samsung.
2013 Work has included stop frame animation, storyboarding, book illustration, exhibiting, and coffee artist.
2012 Sonya had the pleasure of designing Official Olympic t-shirt's being a live digital illustrator for Samsung at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics games.
Sonya's Coffee Art has been extremely successful, she is the first and only professional Coffee foam portrait artist in Europe.
